I am working on my eary 50's rubber dy-dee baby. beautiful doll, rubber is in great shape, but REALLY REALLY dirty, now her HP head is beautiful didn't harm the color at all, and the rubber body is already 60% cleaner, I am going to work on her on and off today each time I leave her she is cleaner. thank you for sharing this with all of us, it will make the doll world so much brighter!! I used it on a Betsy Wetsy that I won ebay, I thought she was a losed cause. I used all the other cleaners on her to no avale, she was still very dirty. I used the cleaner on a 50 year old HP Ginny doll who had many facial stains and appeared to be hopeless. On Dresden-Lace-type porcelain doll   Your Miracle Doll Cleaner worked wonders on my Dresden-Lace-type porcelain doll. I poured your Miracle Doll Cleaner, into a spray bottle, and then sprayed my doll. I paid particular attention to the open lace and net areas, letting the physical action of the spray, and the cleaning solution, do its work. Then I rinsed her down by spraying over and over again with clear water.
    In preparation for doing this, I had placed my doll on a soft, thick, folded terrycloth towel, which I had covered with a white muslin cloth, so as to avoid any snags. You should've seen that white cloth after I'd finished! There was a light brown ring of rinsed off dirt that had dripped off my doll. I had no idea she was that dirty. But there obviously was quite a bit of soil trapped within the intricacies of her lacy gown. I thank you for sharing your product, and your expertise. You have been a huge help to me.

Hi! Carol and Tom!I have been using your product for a year now and I'm THRILLED! I collect Prototype and Sample Barbie's, and your cleaner is THE ONLY stuff I trust! What I LOVE about your product is it gets in the pores of the Vinyl or Plastic and cleans the dolls so well they smell like the JUST CAME OUT of THEIR BOX'S.

I recently went to California on vacation,and went to a Doll Show with my best friend.He found a GREAT CONDITION ,BUT VERY DIRTY American Character hard plastic Sweet Sue doll.He was a little gun shy about buying her and I told him BUY IT and use Carol's cleaner(I told him about your AMAZING product previously and other collectors too!)He bought your cleaner that nite and said if it worked like I told him he would start buy Hard Plastics from the 50's as a new side collection to his regular doll collection and restore them!Thanks again! Michael My thoughts on the doll cleaner -.I used the doll cleaner as a novice doll restorer. My experience with Carol's doll cleaner is that it removed the white residue on plastic dolls, with careful application, got rid of grease, ink, mold & the green tinge on the hard plastic & rubber dolls. It also worked on composition dolls that I had to rethink some of the repairs from major to minor repairs. I have since used a different brand of cleaner - in my search for Carol's website address which I somehow lost. I will be ordering more of the Miracle cleaner & will not be using the one I tried as it did two things, did not clean off white marks on plastic dolls, it actually seemed to clean something & the problem would reappear after a week or two. (?) I have no idea what happened, but this was an actual occurrence. I am quite satisfied that Carol's Miracle cleaner will not let me down.   Rhonwen

I received your doll cleaner yesterday and took out one of my dolls that I was planning on restoring back to reborn quality before I reborned her.. I got her cleaned in 15 minutes, amazing. It would've taken me hours using the other type of cleaners on her. Your cleaner removed make up stains and permanent marker even and all with little or no effort, its just so amazing. Your cleaner will save me so much time with dirty dolls with getting them cleaned and ready for reborning. Your doll repair book came in handy also.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question about doll wigs last week..because of that and your info about your doll site I have discovered a valuable home..looks like you have about everything I could possibly need.   I have your book. I even had it spiral bound because I use it so often. It is wonderful. You share your wisdom so graciously with us. Thank you for that.
I do so love shopping with you when I need dolly things. And as for the cleaner. I originally purchased it about a year ago. I loved it but of course continued to take references from other fellow dolly peeps as to what they were using and how great it was and laa dee daa. Well throughout this year I have spent a stupidly outrageous amount on different cleaning products all of which my fellow dolly friends swear by. I have tried them, given them the best tests I can and have to tell you that after trying each one... the doll was finished off with your cleaner as the others don't even come close. There's one company Twin Pines... I'm sure you've heard of them. Their formula 911 is suppose to be so great. NOT. I got better results with regular dish detergent than with that stuff and it wasn't cheap either! Then I went to about 15 different hardware stores around here to hunt down Glass Wax which is what they all told me not to use anything but that on my compos and hard plastics.   Laugh again. That stuff stinks to high heaven, is greasy as all get out and didn't clean half as well as your cleaner. I've used the Stridex and Oxy10 and the BonAmi and the Bartenders Friend and the so on and so ons that they all thought was the end all to doll cleaning. Bottom line. Your cleaner still outshines them all. I was down to literally a capful of it left in my bottle and still cleaned two HP dolls that I got in this week with it. I'm out completely now though so please, please send me some more!

Carol, ..I ordered your cleaner and I was shocked at the speed of delivery....but that was nothing compared to the shock I had when the awful sour smell in those 2 old gals was gone after 2 washings tonight.   I started with one and could not stop. At present I have a turbine soaked in the solution around the heads trying to remove the last of the wig and glue that was also a part of the problem but the inside of the heads are no longer stinky.......I have been dealing with these stinky old gals for over a year....had them sitting in a box covered head to toe in baking soda after many attempts of washing with whatever came to mind but to no avail......Anyway, this is a miracle product....wish I had found you a year ago, it would have saved allot of grief........Paula. I purchased a lot of about 500 old/vintage dolls that I clean/restore in my spare time. I've cleaned over 100 now with the Miracle Doll cleaner and the informative help you gave me on how to wash the hair. People who see my dolls have no idea how dirty they were before cleaning!! Hi Carol and Tom -I'm going to add to all your testimonials and say your cleaners beats all other products on the market - hands down!! (And believe you me, I've tried them all.) ANOTHER ON A RUBBER DOLL -
I just wanted to let you know how great your cleaner is! I have a number of vintage sun rubber Gerber baby dolls who have all been transformed from dirty, stained, & discolored dolls to lovely dolls. I have also used this to clean off years of grime from vintage rubber baby toys revealing some as near perfect in coloring & condition. In addition to the dirt and grime, I have found that this has removed what appeared to tar and paint without ever damaging my 'girls'. I have taken it to friends and just performed random acts of cleaning on their dolls and they cannot believe what a change it makes. This is my second bottle purchased and I am a believer in it....it really does perform miracles! Again..thanks for the great product --Pat

I am so pleased with your doll cleaner. I just purchased a very expensive French doll. Her arms were so dirty that I did not think it possible to clean them. Years and years of embedded dirt penetrated the composition body. Well, it worked and I am so happy. She looks so much better now and can wear the short sleeved French dress that I bought for her. She even had these pin point rust spots on her back. They were gross looking. I thought, "What the heck, it can't look any worse." So I tried some on her back and it improved the look of it by 75%. The other night, I dug into my garage and found some dolls I'd bought at an Estate sale 4 years ago that were dirty, grimey, and stained. I grabbed your cleaner and tried it. ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE the job this cleaner does. I cleaned a Cameo Miss Peep that looked like a kid had taken a red ball point pen to and it even worked on that. When I was finished, I could swear the doll even smelled like a new vinyl doll. I was so impressed, I went searching for you to find more cleaner. I am now debating whether to buy the case or half case for my next purchase. Forget the bottle at a time...this is something any doll doctor should NEVER run out of.

Thought you would like to know that in addition to ordering from you yet again, I have managed to convince both my sister and my best friend to buy a bottle of your cleaner from you on ebay in the last week! I'm halfway through my first bottle and having SO much fun with it. It took some time, but I even got a broad band of honey brown, of a now adorable little compo girl. Hello, This is a fan letter. I received a hard plastic doll today that I had purchased on eBay. The eBay photo showed that the doll's face was a little darkened, but I thought that it still looked okay. When I opened the package her face was a dark, dark golden brown. Just awful. I then remembered your cleaner. I have used it in cleaning dirty dolls, with great success, but thought that this doll was simply too much. I mean the darkness couldn't be scraped off, it was more like a nasty stain, possibly from cigarette smoke. Anyway, I rubbed a little on the doll's chin. Nothing happened-or so I thought. A minute or two later, I looked back at the doll and realized that LO AND BEHOLD (!) the chin was lighter!!!!! I proceeded to scrub her up using your cleaner, and let me tell you, she is beautiful. I am amazed! Thank you, thank you for your great product!

Carol:    Another convert!   I purchased your doll cleaner and one week later a very, very dirty compo doll entered my home. She is all original, shoes, socks, undies, dress and bonnet. A 23" compo from the late 1930's or early 1940s. She also had 60 - 70 years of dirt covering all exposed areas of her compo. I just received Carol's Miracle Doll Cleaner and, like a lot of you, I was skeptical that it could possibly be as good as the advertising. I have an original antique Fulper doll body that cannot be replaced if I mess it up. I have been waiting to clean it because it is so filthy and fragile. I just finished cleaning the doll body and to my amazement, except for the problems it has due to age, it looks like a new body. I followed Carol's instructions exactly and the dirt came off with each and every swipe of the cloth. The small irregularities came off on the second go round. I will attest that this doll cleaner is beyond miraculous. I am a doll dealer and in my many years in this business I never expected anything like this to come along. When I finish this letter I am going to find the box of dolls and parts I have been saving for just such a product. BLYTHE DOLL The cleaner I bought from you is just great. I have it to clean my Blythe dolls and the stain just came out so easily. One of my Blythe dolls has red stains on her feet from wearing some red shoes and the top and it came out with the cleaner ..I am so happy and glad that I have purchased this great product from you..as there are so many Blythe fans have had this happened to the dolls but none of them seem able to get rid of the stain. I feel I am so lucky.

Hello Carol, well you were right it is fantastic. i cant believe the job it did on my dolls. i knew they were dirty, but not until i saw how clean they are now did i realize just how dirty they were. i used it on vinyl, composition, leather, and hard plastic.   the results are amazing and very little effort is needed. I have some vinyl Robin Woods dolls and Madame Alexander dolls who were in a fire last year, and were cleaned as well as could be expected by a fire restoration company. Many of them came back with faces and bodies that I thought were ruined!! I took two of them tonight and used the doll cleaner on them and they are just about perfect! A few of their outfits were somewhat scorched, and many need pressing and crisping up, but now it seems worth it to do this. Thank you very much - I think you have saved much of my doll collection! I wanted you to know that your product not only cleaned my daughter's dolls after the The doll cleaner was quite a surprise to me ... IT WORKS! I cleaned a very dirty compo doll and found she was in much better shape than I thought she was. She will not need repainting at all. What I thought was nicks and gouges just ended up being years of accumulated dirt, scuffs, bug specks, pencil marks, etc. I was thrilled!!! C. Junkerdevastating fire, but it also cleans up wood furniture. I tried other products on both the dolls and the furniture, and nothing took off the soot like your product. You need to think about marketing the doll cleaner in other directions, like soot removal after a fire! Thanks! Gail

CLEANS COMPOSITION !!   in April 2001SASHA DOLLS!! I recently purchased some old Sasha dolls that were quite dirty, with years of accumulated dust and dirt. I was nervous about trying anything other than the recommended water and mild Dawn or Orvus -- but while those products did fine with surface dirt, the older ground-in grime remained. On one doll, I was especially concerned about her face. It's the most exposed and (potentially) admired part of the doll -- yet this Sasha's was so dirty, her coloring look hopelessly uneven, marring her natural beauty. So I hesitantly tried your cleaner. I know it says it works on vinyl, but I'd been cautioned against using anything that might compromise the value of the doll. I was amazed at how much more dirt came off! Even her face cleaned up beautifully. Her coloring now looks almost even. I was very careful around her eye and lip paint (trying to avoid it, where possible), and it didn't seem to affect them. CLEANING OFF MILDEW Dear Carol....I bought a l4" margaret "princess margaret Rose" and she was in real trouble. She had white gunk on her torso and arms and some on her feet.   She was the dirtiest doll I have ever seen but her mohair wig was in original set and good and her face was dirty but beautiful and the dress funny enough was in good condition. I took off the wig which was loose and started scrubing with your cleaner. I really hadn't put it to the test until this doll and you just can't believe how well she came out. I flaked off the white then used your cleaner and it is remarkable how she looks now. Just wanted you to know. CLEANING BISQUE AND REMOVING TAR MARKS Hi, When I saw your auction for Miracle Cleaner I thought it must be a good product, but I had know idea that it would really be a miracle cleaner, I cleaned my bisque kewpies faster and better than I ever thought possible (one even had tar like marks I've never been able to remove).
